Rocky Mountain 11, Coeur d'Alene 3: In the first game, JT Strickler homered twice as the Grizzlies beat the Vikings 11-3.

"The kids played hard, unfortunately a missed played pop up in center field extended (the fifth inning) and the next pitch leaves the yard," Rook said. "A catch would have kept it 4-2 and we still have a game. The kids had good approaches at the plate. Add in three home runs on a short porch made it difficult to play from that far behind. Rocky is a great team. It was a great game for us. We will learn from it."
