NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Coeur d'Alene Design Review Commission invites you to the following public meeting to consider your oral comments and all written comments received on these items: ITEM DR-1-15 What is being requested: Riverstone West Associates LLC is requesting the Design Review Commission's early design consultation for the design and construction of 10 single-story "cottage" buildings, and one three-story residential building. A total of 80-units will be constructed for seniors. Location of the request: The property is located in the Riverstone Development and on the southeast corner of Seltice Way and Riverstone Drive. The subject property is a +/- 6 acre site and legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Riverstone West Silver, According to the Plat Recorded in Book K of Plats, Page 483, Records of Kootenai County, Idaho. ITEM DR-2-15 What is being requested: Tombstone Investment, LLC is requesting the Design Review Commission's early design consultation for the design and construction of a three-story, multi-family apartment project with an anticipated 15 units. Location of the request: The property is located at 728 Sherman Avenue, south of the terminus of 8th Street. The subject property is a \u00B10.209 acre site and is legally described as Lots 1 and 2, Block A, Boughton's and Kelso addition to the City of Coeur d'Alene, according to the plat recorded in Book A of plats, page 115, Records of Kootenai County, Idaho. What is the purpose of the meeting? The purpose of this initial meeting with the Design Review Commission is for the applicant to engage with the City review processes as soon as possible before design decisions are made and fixed. Therefore, this will not include definitive designs, but rather broader descriptions of the development program and objectives, the constraints and opportunities presented by the site, and an analysis of the neighborhood setting that surrounds the site. The City intends to work in a collaborative fashion so that the outcome can meet both the goals of the City and the applicant, as well as address concerns of people who live and own property and businesses in close proximity to the development. Public Comment Public comment on proposed projects will be no more than 30 minutes total. Any public comment on a proposed project will be on the subject of design -- that is, how to make a project better comport with the design guidelines. No comment shall be taken on matters such as basic zoning standards, Floor Area Ratio, building height, density, or use, as these matters are not open to Commission modification. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Rathdrum City Council will hold a Public Hearing on April 8, 2015 commencing at 6:00 PM, or soon thereafter as can be heard after the meeting commences, at Rathdrum City Hall, 8047 W. Main Street, Rathdrum, ID 83858. The purpose of this hearing is to hear evidence and testimony regarding a 122-single family residential lot Preliminary Plat on approximately 39.44 acres to be known as Timber Landing Estates, located west of Meyer Road and adjacent to Lakeland High School in the northeast quarter of Section 31, Township 52N, Range 4 W. The application was submitted by Black Realty and Tomlinson Real Estate Consulting of Spokane. Oral testimony may be limited to 3 minutes. Written comments may be submitted prior to the City Council hearing, but must be received by the Planning and Zoning office, 8047 W Main Street, Rathdrum, ID 83858, no later than April 1, 2015 in order to be considered by the City Council.
