HUMANE SOCIETY: Did the right thing

After writing a letter to The Press venting because of my experience in trying to adopt a dog at the Kootenai Humane Society, I now have good news.

The Director of Operations, Debbie, has made it up to me for that whole bad experience. She allowed me to choose a dog of my choice and waved the adoption fee. So now I am happy and l love my new dog.

The Kootenai Humane Society has a lot of new dogs in from a California kill center that are waiting for their new forever homes. So if you are looking for a new four-legged friend to add to your family, by all means go out there and take a look.

I really appreciate Debbie’s thoughtfulness in how she made me feel good about the shelter once again. Thank you so much Debbie.
