CARRIE: Ideal for Careywood

It amazes me all of the people ready to bash Carrie Bartelt, the postmaster of the tiny town’s post office.

With only a little more than 100 P.O. boxes it doesn’t garner what a big post office does. However this tiny post office in Careywood has one thing the big post offices do not have and that is Carrie. Carrie has brought a sense of a community back. She loves her patrons, and they her. She has worked hard to get that place up and going again.

To the folks who would have to drive a distance to get their mail, if this office is closed may not seem like a big deal to some of us, but to the longtime patrons that is a bit much on them to travel especially in the winter just to pick up your mail. Help support Carrie.
