ECON 101: Numbers tell Obama's story
Numbers add up, but Barack Obama numbers just do not add up to much. Over the past 100 years, from 1900 to 2000 average economic growth in America has been 3.4 percent. During the past 62 months of Obama policies, so called “middle class economics,” economic growth has been 2.3 percent. Compare this same time frame for Ronald Reagan presidency, 62 months and Reagan’s economic policies produced 4.8 percent. Yes, 4.8 percent, more than double Obama’s.
Let’s take a look at Obama’s job creation. Obama’s job growth is 9.9 million new jobs. Reagan’s job growth covering same amount of months and during same time period in an economic recovery was 16.8 million jobs. Almost twice as many jobs were created when America used Ronald Reagan economics compared to what Obama economics has created.
America can do much better than what America has been forced to endure during the Barack Obama presidency. People can and do have opinions concerning the “whys” and “wherefores,” none of which really matters. History shows Ronald Reagan’s economic numbers and history shows Obama’s numbers. America under Ronald Reagan was an economic powerhouse which was envied throughout the world. America under Barack Obama economic policies is at best “sub-par” to the 100-year economic growth rate of this country, and at worst slightly above America’s longest depression.
No, there is NO economic boom going on under POTUS Barack Obama. Anyone who believes there is simply is not getting their numbers to add up. Pretty plain to see if willing to do the math.
