Albert 'Bert' Shockey, 82

Albert "Bert" Shockey of Hayden, Idaho, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015.

Bert was born April 25, 1932, in Isabella, Mo. He was a Marine who served in the Korean War.

Bert enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and long drives.

Bert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean Shockey; his two sons and three daughters: Richard Shockey of Stevenson, Wash., Robert and his wife Jaclyn Shockey of Alpine, Wyo., Debby Herring and her partner Doug McKinney of Tacoma, Wash., Cheryl and her husband Tom Vincent of Mt. Lake Terrace, Wash., and Barbara and her husband Carl Meadows of Vancouver, Wash. Bert is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
