Donavan Blake Puga, 21
On the evening of March 4, 2015, Donavan Blake Puga, "Buddy," passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident heading home from work in North Dakota. Donavan was 21 years old.
Donavan was born in the town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on March 29, 1993. As a young boy, Donavan loved to ride motorcycles and anything that was extreme. Donavan was an extremely gifted athlete and boarder who enjoyed snowboarding, wakeboarding, skating, hunting, fishing, weightlifting, and spending time with friends and family.
Donavan touched the lives of everyone around him whether it was someone he knew already or a complete stranger.
Donavan attended Fernan elementary, and as fate would have it, had the same kindergarten teacher as his older brother eight years prior. Early on, Donavan captured a special part in all of the family's heart and became the family's pride and joy. His sisters Verina, Veronica and Melissa all had their own unique special bond with Donavan being the "baby" of the family. His mom and dad held their heads up proudly as Donavan blossomed into the fun-loving teen and man he would later become.
Donavan attended Lakes Middle School, and later Lake City High School where he graduated in 2011. After his graduation, Donavan moved with his brother to Fresno, Calif., where they assumed the life they had talked about since they were little kids sharing a bunk bed. In the brief time Donavan spent in Fresno he became a certified crossfit instructor, enrolled in college, and met the love of his life, his fiancee Lexi Blum. Donavan and Lexi later pursued a life in North Dakota where he worked in the oil fields with his friends from high school.
Donavan is survived by his fiancee, Lexi Blum; parents Pete Puga, Jr. and Tammie Lynn Puga; his brother Pete Puga III; and sisters Verina, Veronica, and Malissa Puga.
