Beverly Jane Knutson, 76

Beverly Jane Knutson, a resident of Twin Lakes, Idaho, and Hoonah, Alaska, passed away on Feb. 27, 2015, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

Beverly was born on Dec. 16, 1938, in Coeur d'Alene, to French and Frances McCoy.

On March 10, 1956, Beverly married Alonzo (Lonnie) Knutson. She was a homemaker, and later in life accompanied her husband commercial fishing.

Beverly enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, and was known for her famous chocolate chip cookies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Randy; and son-in-law Raymond. Beverly is survived by her husband, Lonnie; brother Ed; son Gil (Joyce); daughters Pam (Jim), Debbie, and Kathy; grandchildren Jessica, Tommy, Chantelle, Nicole, Ryan, Darrel, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Lucas, and Ella.

No services are planned, and her ashes will be spread at a future date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northwest Oncology, CyberKnife, and also the Northland Lakes Fire District for their care and compassion.
