TUBBS: Butt out, smokers

Most people enjoying Tubbs Hill have noticed the ubiquitous cigarette butts. Saturday’s fire is a grave indicator of the Hill’s vulnerability. Can we not get a no smoking ban implemented? Trailhead signs warning “NO SMOKING, violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law” would go a long way toward keeping this Coeur d’Alene treasure safe.
