Margaret 'Maggie' Kathrine Keiser, 54

| June 24, 2015 9:00 PM

Margaret Kathrine Keiser, "Maggie," beloved mother, daughter and friend was called into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father the morning of June 18, 2015, after a year of battling cancer.

Maggie was born in Gardena, Calif., on Aug. 9, 1960, to Alvin and Mary Keil. She was the youngest of three children.

Maggie married husband, Frank Keiser, in June 1986, and in 1991 they had their daughter Keilah, followed a year and a half later by son, Zach. Maggie and Frank, both California natives, relocated to Idaho in the spring of 1995 and soon accomplished their dream of building their home in Hayden Lake.

Maggie was a woman of many talents. She owned and operated a successful hair salon in Mammoth, Calif., in her 20s and continued cutting hair for many friends and family even after relocating to Idaho. She studied interior design and turned that passion into a career, and very patiently homeschooled both of her children.

Maggie was a very creative woman with a drive and passion for life. There wasn't anything she could not do.

One of Maggie's greatest passions was her love for the Lord Jesus. Maggie had such a strong, unparalleled faith that stayed with her until the day she died. It was one of the most beautiful things one could witness. She was very involved in her church, and loved Bible study and fellowship. Maggie was a woman who impacted many lives and we will miss her tremendously.

Maggie was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Keil; and is survived by her husband, Frank Keiser; daughter Keilah Keiser and son Zach Keiser; sister Gail Bonney and brother Gary Keil; and mother Mary Keil.
