| June 23, 2015 9:00 PM

SPOKANE - Carlos Garay's 3-run triple in the second got Spokane off to an early start, and the Indians got plenty of offense in a 8-3 win over the Hillsboro Hops on Monday in Northwest League baseball before 3,743 at Avista Stadium.

Dylan Moore got the Indians on the board in the second. He led off with a double, later scoring on a Carlos Garay single to right.

Spokane starter Cody Palmquist lasted 3 1/3 innings, allowing three hits, four walks and two runs while striking out three.

The Indians added a run in the fifth, as Leon Byrd singled, moved over to second on a wild pitch, to third on a walk, and scored when Jamie Potts managed a full-count walk.

Connor McKay hit his first home run of the season, a line drive to right field, in the bottom of the seventh, followed by a Dean Long RBI single, to push the Indians' lead to 7-3.

McKay added an RBI single in the eighth and Darius Day tallied three RBIs for Spokane (3-2), which hosts Everett (4-1) tonight at 6:30 p.m.
