VETS: They're honored here

| June 21, 2015 9:00 PM

This letter is to show appreciation from my wife and myself to those who anonymously pay our eating tabs. My tab has been covered anonymously twice at two different local restaurants. I served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and proudly wear my Navy Veterans hat and almost daily get a personal handshake or a “thank you for your service” appreciative voice.

The people of Idaho are the greatest and many show their gratitude for all those who have served and returned. Many of the restaurant owners show their gratitude by giving servicemen free meals every year without asking for an I.D. to show you served. This letter will serve to thank you all for what you do anonymously and face to face. God bless America.
