Starling Marc Lindsey, 59
Dr. Starling Marc Lindsey was born in Kalispell, Mont., on Jan. 21, 1956, and died May 31, 2015, to pursue his love of music, enjoyment of family and friends in the afterlife.
Marc loved composing music almost as much as he loved his family, including beloved wife, sons, brothers, sister and so many others, as well as friends he shared his life with.
Marc was a consummate musician, lawyer, author, and professor who pursued many endeavors both artistic and creative. Marc found the love of his life, Suzie McGoldrick, late in life, desiring from the moment he met her for the duration of his life to share with her his sons, family and friends.
Marc attended Eastern Washington University, and South Texas College of Law. Dr. Lindsey graduated with honors and on the Dean's list. In 2002, Marc published "Copyright on Campus," a textbook. Until recently, he was the copyright specialist consultant and contract lawyer for Washington State University.
Marc was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Afflerbach; his father, Starling Lee Lindsey; stepfather Ken D. Biery; and brother, Montgomery Lindsey.
He is survived by his wife, Suzie McGoldrick; sons Starling Lindsey, Morgan Lindsey and John Lindsey; Suzie's kids Bridgette (Jon), Tim, Rachel, and James McGoldrick; granddaughter Theylyn Hornbuckle; sister Susan Lindsey; brothers Ken and (Kimberly) Biery and John Steven Lindsey.
