Robert 'Bob' Edward Keller

Bob was born in Ritzville, Wash., to Michael and Mary Keller, the oldest of three children. After graduating from Cashmere High School in 1944, Bob joined the Marine Corps, 4th Marine Division, where he was a machine gunner in the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II. He returned home and took some classes at Farragut College.

Bob met his future wife, Florence Healy, at a USO dance in Coeur d'Alene. They were married in 1948, and during their more than 60 years together raised six children: Marilyn, Mike, Mark, Marsha, Matt, and Martin. Bob is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his wife, Florence, and brother Ray.

Bob passed peacefully in the presence of family.

The service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at St. Joseph's Church, 4521 N. Arden Road, Otis Orchards, Wash.
