WARMING: Four lies to examine

There are two sets of “facts” about global warming. How do those of us without exceptional expertise in the subject select our “facts?” Twenty or so years ago when I first started looking into this I was struck by the many obvious lies being propagated by the Global Warmers.

1) All aspects of global warming are a disaster. A warmer climate is actually more often a boon to mankind. Europe at least prospered and the population shot up during the warm spell of about 1,000 AD when they really had global warming. The “Little Ice Age” that followed killed millions. If it warmed enough so more of Canada and Siberia became arable the world’s crop land would increase greatly.

2) Researchers who deny global warming are biased due to oil money. On the contrary, the Warmer researchers are biased, because it is they who can get almost unlimited funds for research provided their findings support global warming. The more exaggerated your results, the more money is available. If you find there is no big problem the money for research dries up.

3) The matter is settled, everyone believes global warming is a serious problem. Recently, more than 30,000 people with science degrees signed a petition saying they did not believe in man-caused global warming. One of the Warmers big supporters is “concerned scientists.” There is one requirement to join this illustrious group: You must pay your membership dues.

4) Global warming is causing increasing natural disasters. The same groups that are now Global Warmers started telling us in the ’60s that we were running out of resources. Their panic predictions proved false then and almost always since. To mitigate this, they now blame all natural disasters on man-made CO2 without any evidence.

If you still think these people are credible I can’t help you.
