THANKS: A big one is overdue
What a refreshing, wonderful article about Michael Williams and Zachary Endreson. It shows that there are really good kids out there still. This is something that may have changed the compass of their lives. Just one good deed at that age will do it. It happened with me at 12.
Unfortunately, the fact that the 20-year-old young man has yet to contact the boys to say thank you is beyond sad. I fear it is indicative of the entitled, self-absorbed and ungrateful young adults we are creating. He should be ashamed that he hasn’t contacted them, and his parents should be ashamed that they raised such an ingrate for a son.
That may be harsh but it’s my opinion and this IS an opinion page. There is no excuse for him not saying thank you immediately. He obviously has no idea how lucky he is.
