| June 16, 2015 9:00 PM

Cherie P. Boisseranc, 80, of Rathdrum, Idaho, passed away and joined our Father in Heaven on Friday, June 12, 2015, in the loving presence of her family.

Cherie was the daughter of Earl and Velma Cotanche and was born on April 3, 1935. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother of 10, grandmother of 30, great-grandmother of 27, great-great-grandmother of one, aunt, and a loving friend to many.

She married her childhood sweetheart and best friend of 61 years, Frank, on Jan. 16, 1954. Together they created a lovely family with a lifetime of unforgettable memories.

Cherie was a beautiful and dedicated wife and mother. Her life revolved around taking care of her family. This is what was most important to her. She worked hard at providing a warm and loving home for her family, while raising and taking care of them in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. She was a spectacular cook and a selfless wife and mother. She was always tending and taking care of her family's needs before her own.

Cherie appreciatedanything to do with nature and animals, and she loved photographing those types of pictures. In her younger years, she even expressed her artistic side by painting some of those scenes on canvas, which are cherished by her family always. Cherie also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like music, camping and fishing, which she made prevalent in her family's lives. She also liked hunting, gardening, and canning. After moving to North Idaho in 1981, Cherie, along with her husband Frank, participated in the North Idaho County Fair for a number of years where they received countless blue ribbons for their canned foods, fruits, vegetables and wine. Together, they were active in their church at St. Joseph's in Spirit Lake, where Cherie took part in the 'Women's Altar Society' and served as a 'Eucharistic Minister.' She and Frank also worked hard at planting and growing trees on their land. They eventually produced and sold those trees at their 'North Pole Christmas Tree Ranch' for a number of years together.

Cherie mostly valued her home and spending time with family. She treasured her unique knick-knacks and antiques, along with the natural beauty that surrounded them at their home in Rathdrum,.

Cherie was preceded in death by her parents, sister, in-laws, nieces, and loving grandchildren Caleb and Donnie. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Frank Boisseranc of Rathdrum; daughter and son in-law Katherine and Don Beck of Boulder Creek, Calif., son and daughter in-law Bob and Lori Boisseranc of Rathdrum, son and daughter in-law Don and Jude Boisseranc of Morgan Hill, Calif.; daughter and son in-law Debbie and Curtis Molyneaux of Morgan Hill, Calif., daughter and son in-law Cheryl and Fred Pagan of Campbell, Calif., son Carl Boisseranc of Post Falls, daughter Cherie Boisseranc of Rathdrum, daughter and son in-law Francine and George McKenzie of Saratoga, Calif., daughter and son in-law Michelle and Bill Breitkreutz of Athol, and daughter and son in-law Charlene and Tony Carhart of Athol; along with numerous generations of grandchildren.
