PARADE: Let those flags fly

| June 12, 2015 9:00 PM

If you’ve had the opportunity to attend the annual Fourth of July parade in Coeur d’Alene, you’ve seen our classic “small-town America” celebration and it doesn’t get much better than ours.

The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee has had the privilege of handing out American-made U.S. flags to children (and some of their parents) along the parade route for quite a few years. The cost for those flags has continued to rise so this year, we are asking for donations to help offset that cost.

While it’s the Republican Party handing out the flags, this is truly a non-partisan, all-American event. Please consider sending a donation to the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, P.O. Box 3438, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83816 so children along the parade route can proudly wave the red, white and blue and celebrate the birth of the greatest nation on the Earth!
