CLIMATE: It's all a matter of cycles

The Earth has been warming, with periods of cooling, since the little ice age. Past records show warming to 1878, cooling to 1911, warming to 1941, cooling to 1964, warming to 1998 and cooling through 2011.

I remember reading an article from a scientific magazine in the early 1970s stating we were in a global cooling mode and the reason for the cooling was the burning of fossil fuels, which caused pollution, which prevented the sun’s rays from reaching the Earth. Then in the late 1990s an article on global warming, which was caused, they reported, by the burning of fossil fuels which produced pollution, which prevented the warm sun’s rays that reached the Earth during the day from dissipation into the atmosphere during the night. Oh, and during the 1970s I was living in California and we had a drought, much the same as the one they are having now.

The Earth has cycles of warming and cooling, cycles of drought, and man has nothing to do with it. NASA reported in the 1990s that Mars was also warming — was this caused by man or the burning of fossil fuels?

The only people who push the false idea that man has a hand in climate change are those who will profit from it, such as scientists that get grants from the government to study this, or those like A. Gore, who has made millions.
