DOGS: Shooting deserves justice

| June 3, 2015 9:00 PM

After reading the article about the shooting of dogs on federal land I was livid.

As a dog owner, I cannot imagine this happening to me as I walked my dog. The father accepted responsibility but two things bother me — first the shooter was 19 and is ultimately responsible for seeing the difference between dogs and wolf, and secondly, this is a parent telling his child to shoot an out of season animal.

Responsibility. Obeying the law. When did these become moot points in America?

To the killers, you probably wish you were in Kootenai County where no one gets charged. I hope Boundary County does better.
