POWELL, Wyo. - North Idaho College sophomore and former Post Falls High star Tyler Booth earned a 14-6 major decision win at 149 pounds for the second-ranked Cardinal wrestling team in a 25-6 dual win over the Western Wyoming Mustangs of Rock Springs on Friday at the Apodaca Duals on the campus of Northwest College.

NIC won 8 of the 10 weight classes by decision.

"Tyler looked good," NIC coach Pat Whitcomb said. "Both him and Tyler (McLean) wrestled really well. Isaac (Aguilar) wrestled well for his first match since we pulled his redshirt last week. He'll need a couple of matches to get ready for regionals, but our guys are gearing it up."

NIC (14-3) will face Neosho of Chanute, Kan., this morning, then take on host Northwest College in the second half of the Battle for the Moose dual. NIC beat Northwest 28-13 in the first dual on Dec. 12 in Coeur d'Alene.
