CHOICE: No role in LGBT debate
Finally! A very good Jan. 24 column from Stuart Bryan on the ever-growing barrage of propaganda from the LGBT community and its supporters. It’s past time for someone to expose their deceits. I’ll pick just one example — their proclamations of: “It’s not a choice.” This is a red herring thrown down on the trail to lure us off to a side road going nowhere.
Whether or not it is a choice is totally irrelevant. Anyone could refer to a large number of characteristics concerning which we had no choice — hair or eye color for example. In fact, being born in the first place was not our choice. The unavoidable and unarguable fact is that after a few years of full parental control, then essentially everything we did was a choice. Living the LGBT lifestyle is totally and emphatically a choice. There is no one standing behind them with a shotgun ready to blow their heads off.
We’ve read recently from or relating to mothers approving the LGBT lifestyles of their children under the guise of motherly love. Motherly over-indulgence is the true applicable term and it justifies nothing.
Incidentally, to respond to those who note that heterosexuals sometimes employ similar “styles,” that comparison is meaningless. Those “styles” are wrong whoever uses them. Besides, the heteros don’t keep screaming: “It’s not a choice” mainly because they know that it is.
And by the way, congratulations and a rousing “way-to-go” to those homosexuals who try to pursue a more appropriate lifestyle. There are some and they deserve plaudits. Nobody said it was easy.
