Dorothy Podratz, 87

On Jan. 21, 2015, Dorothy Podratz began her journey to the Lord. The day before she passed she told her husband, Roy F. Podratz of 61 years, "she would walk slowly so he could catch up." She was a member of the Eagles drill team. She loved to crochet, gardening and loved her dog, Chee Chee.

During her journey she encountered her daughter, Carol Collins, who passed Dec. 11, 2008. Leaving behind her daughter, Darlene Carey and husband Doug; her daughter, Patty Larson; along with a sister, Tina Caswell; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; along with a niece, Norma Everett and a nephew, Butch Caswell.
