| January 25, 2015 8:00 PM

LEWISTON - Max McCullough scored 14 points and Jack Millsap had 14 points and three steals, leading the Post Falls Trojans past the Lewiston Bengals 72-40 in a 5A Inland Empire League game on Saturday at Booth Hall.

Jake Blakney scored 11 points for Post Falls (15-1, 3-0 5A IEL), which hosts Moscow on Tuesday.

"We got out to a much better start tonight," Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. "Lewiston pressed full court and played pretty fast in the first, which is something we like to do. We did a good job of pushing the ball in the second half."

Trystan Bradley scored 17 points for Lewiston (7-10, 0-3).

KALISPELL, Mont. - Joe Pasquale scored 11 points for the Timberwolves in a loss to the Wolfpack.

"It's not an excuse, but to go on the road 4 1/2 hours the day after a league game, we need to learn how to do that," Lake City assistant coach Kelly Reed said. "It makes things more difficult, but we played a good Glacier team. We executed well offensively and defensively, but we couldn't get the ball in the basket. It's hard to come off an emotional game against the one of the state's best teams and drive 4 1/2 hours. We had good effort and energy. The ball just didn't go in very often."

Brandon Dotson and Nick Hancock scored nine points each for Lake City (8-7), which travels to Lakeland on Friday.
