RALLIES: Give readers both sides
Concerning your detailed coverage of Saturday’s “add the words” rally, where was the legitimate opposing views or statements in this one-sided, emotion-ladened article? And really, since when is 40 attendees a “crowd?” That’s more like a gathering. On a more telling note, where were your reporters for the “Support the Knapps” rally in early September that drew a real crowd of at least 200? For anyone who is skeptical, just search “Religious Freedom at the Hitching Post” on YouTube. Coeur d’Alene Press, you were informed of the rally and were not there. Your bias is showing, big time.
Return to your abandoned journalistic ethics and stop trying to sway public opinion with your overtly biased reporting, and calculated lack of reporting. Maybe then you can salvage what little trust you have left with the majority of Idahoans.
