Suzanne Du Charme, 49

| January 12, 2015 8:00 PM

Suzanne Du Charme, 49, of Coeur d'Alene passed away on Jan. 3, 2015.

Suzy was an avid watcher of 70s and 80s TV shows, much to the simultaneous amusement and dismay of those around her. She was thrilled to be awarded many medals from Special Olympics for her participation in ice-skating, gymnastics, and track events. Her yearly anticipation of the next trip to Silverwood or the county fair was enough to make anyone smile with her. It was nearly a sport to find something fun to share with her that would elicit that special Suzy-joy.

Suzy spent the last 12 years enjoying the programs offered at Tesh, where she especially loved honing her sewing and cooking skills while meeting with friends. She was also electric on the dance floor and played a mean hand of 'Go Fish.'

Suzy will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her circle of friends and large family, including her mother Skippy Du Charme, sisters Gail and Nicole, and the rest of the family. We will all enjoy memories of her infectious laugh and appreciation for fun times. The family wishes to thank those at Hospice of North Idaho and the Hospice House for their fantastic care and timely help over the last few months.

A private celebration of life will be held later this week.

We encourage anyone who wishes to send donations in memory of Suzy to consider either Tesh (TeshInc.com) or the Hospice of North Idaho (HospiceofNorthIdaho.org).
