Idaho Transportation Department closed both lanes for four hours due to large debris blocking the road and unstable conditions of the mountain side.</p>

<p>Idaho Department of Transportation clean up debris from a mud and rock slide on Highway 97 near Beauty Bay that occurred on around 9:50 a.m. on Thursday. Idaho Department of Transportation estimates about 200 or 300 cubic yards of rocks and mud came sliding down the mountain.</p>
