GASOLINE: Proposed changes by EPA

| January 4, 2015 8:00 PM

I just read an article about proposed changes in EPA regulations.

They want to mandate increased alcohol content in gasoline to 15 percent, which will harm engines.

They want to limit the minimum amount of gasoline that a person can buy to 4 gallons. Now that seems out of their legal boundaries! Some motorcycles, personal watercraft, lawnmowers, hybrid cars, etc. may only have 3-gallon tanks and therefore could not be filled by themselves.

Small engines can be destroyed by engines with 15 percent alcohol content gasoline.

Imagine you are driving in an area where the gas stations are far apart or you need to make a round trip with no gas stations along the path. So you go to the gas to top off your tank before leaving town…oops you can’t top off your tank.

Stupid regulations written by bureaucrats with no commonsense.

For myself, since my village has NO gas station, I always fill up either in the Silver Valley or Coeur d’Alene on the way home.
