LAKE CITY INVITATIONAL: Pedigo pushes Columbia River past Hawks

| January 1, 2015 8:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE - Chad Pedigo scored 15 of his game-high 22 points in the third quarter as the Columbia River Chieftains of Vancouver, Wash., beat the Lakeland Hawks 57-30 in the third-place game of the third annual Lake City Invitational on Wednesday at Lake City High.

"The game started out pretty slow and both teams played good defense," Lakeland assistant coach Bill Ryan said. "Pettigo scored 15 of his 22 in the third, and it felt like they were in a three minute stretch. They took a close game and blew it right open."

Jay Plunkett scored 10 points for Lakeland (7-3), which has lost three of its last four games after a 6-0 start.
