Mary Baker, 89

Mary Baker, the "Plant Lady" of Pineview Estates in Hayden, passed away on Dec. 8, 2015.

Mary could look at a twig and make it grow, hence her spring and fall plant sales for most of her 35 years there.

May 1, 2016, has been chosen as a day to come together and remember Mary. All those who would like to come are welcome. If you want to bring an outdoor plant, her daughter's new empty garden will begin with your plants.

Mary's ashes will also be scattered with each plant you bring to 2068 West Oxford Circle, Coeur d'Alene, at 2 p.m. on May 1, 2016.
