COEUR d’ALENE — When you shoot over 50 percent in a game, chances are, you’re going to win.

When you finish a game 52 of 80 for 65 percent, you’re going to do some other things.

BJ Blake finished the night 8 of 9 from the field, including 3 for 3 from beyond the 3-point line, leading the North Idaho College men’s basketball team to a 135-75 win over the Grays Harbor Choakers in the opening round of the Coeur d’Alene Inn-vitational on Monday at Rolly Williams Court.

NIC (16-0), ranked 13th in the NJCAA’s latest poll, led 72-30 at the half and outrebounded Grays Harbor (0-8) 56-26.

NIC will face Miles City in a semifinal game tonight at 7:30.
