Richard Baumgartner, 22

| December 17, 2015 8:00 PM

Today we mourn the tragic loss of a son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Richard Ernest Baumgartner, known as Rick to all in his heart. Born Feb. 12, 1993. Growing up he was always full of energy, brave and outgoing. His smile was one that could melt the hardest souls. A smile he kept until this untimely passing. That smile will forever be embedded in our hearts. We will forever miss him joking around, making us laugh.

He was so young and had so much going for him in his untimely passing. He and his fiancée, Tori Behmer, had just bought a house where they hoped to raise their daughter. His untimely passing left his daughter, Aylah, without a father. We pray she will always know just how much he loved her. She was his pride and joy. Seeing them together was a bond no words could describe.

Rick leaves behind his parents, Timothy Baumgartner and April Baumgartner, whom will never stop mourning the loss of their son; three sisters, Ashley Rasmussen, Nicole Baumgartner, niece Elizabeth, nephew, Bracey and Daymond. Sister Natasha Baumgartner (Tyler) and nephew Phoenix whom will forever miss their big brother looking out for their them; a brother, Robert Baumgartner who will forever miss his big brother “toughening him up” and teaching him about life; his Grandmother, Theresa Stoddard, Grandfather Michael Mossuto Sr.; Aunt’s Amy Mossuto, and Lily Miller; uncles Michael Mossuto Jr., Mark Mossuto as well as many other great aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.

To my many friends “As I walk through the valley of death, I fear no evil.”

A viewing was held Dec. 16 at Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, Idaho. Please share your thoughts and memories of Rick in his online memorial at www.belltowerfuneralhome.com.
