Reward offered in golf course damage case

The directors of Avondale Golf Club in Hayden Lake are seeking the public’s help in locating those responsible for causing extensive damage at the club last month.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that the golf club’s administration is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the malicious injury to their property.

The damage occurred between Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 8 a.m. when a vehicle was intentionally driven onto the No. 6 green at the golf course, causing roughly $6,000 in damages.
