Patricia "Patt" Danks, 67

Patricia "Patt" Ann Danks, 67, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Nov. 23, 2015, at her Spirit Lake home. Patricia was born on Nov. 30, 1948 in Saginaw, Mich.

Patricia loved reading, jazz and history. An avid reader, Patricia was particularly interested in books about the Constitution and law. She also faithfully read her Bible and regularly attended Beth Yeshua Messianic Fellowship in Priest River.

Patricia was honest, charitable and very giving of her time. She had great admiration for the military, especially the Marine Corps, law enforcement, EMTs and firefighters.

On April 15, 1981, Patricia began dating the love of her life, Michael. The two were married in Michigan on June 6, 1981.

Patricia is survived by her husband Michael; relatives in Michigan and Florida; and her close friends in Idaho, particularly the Hite and Brooks families.

A celebration of life will be held from 4-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at the VFW Hall, 113 Larch St., Priest River. A gathering of friends and family will be held following the service.
