Possible child enticing reported in Post Falls

| December 7, 2015 8:41 AM

POST FALLS — Post Falls Police is investigating a possible child enticing incident that occurred at the intersection of Third Avenue and Greensferry Road near the skate park this morning.

According to police, an older, heavy-set man with gray hair and glasses reportedly held up a puppy, possibly a beagle, and motioned for three or four elementary students waiting for a school bus to come to the pickup around 9 a.m.

The man reportedly had a tan collar on his jacket. The truck is described as a charcoal gray Dodge Ram.

Post Falls police Capt. Greg McLean said, after the children didn't go to the pickup, the man drove off northbound on Greensferry.

McLean said some adults saw the truck. A school resource officer is interviewing the children this afternoon.
