Ruth (Beaudette) Desilets, 91
Ruth passed away Aug. 13, 2015, at her home in Rathdrum, Idaho. Ruth was a loving, caring and giving mother and grandmother. She was born in the small town of Franklin, Mass., on July 2, 1924, to Paul and Agnes Beaudette; she was the youngest of six children.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 1942. A quote from her yearbook "The Oskey 1942": Ruthie is quiet and serious to all outward appearances, but she is really capable of much fun-making. She has the Faculty of making all friends and no enemies and retaining them like a diplomat.
Ruth married Paul A. Desilets of Attleboro, Mass. They had two sons, Paul and Kevin. In 1958 they moved to Inglewood, Calif. She worked at Hughes Aircraft Co. for 31 years and then retired and moved to Rathdrum in 1994. After moving to Rathdrum she made many friends and joined social clubs.
Ruth loved to drive and go on road trips. She volunteered at Hospice and later went to work at the food bank. Ruth was very giving of her time (volunteering) and loved working at Hospice and the food bank.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Roberta Desilets of Rathdrum; granddaughters Jennifer of Bellingham, Wash., Allison of Rathdrum, Lisa Galindo and Tara Shadow of Las Vegas, Nev.
