TRUMP: Wrong on immigration
Donald Trump concerns me, especially his views on immigration and his knowledge of the Constitution. The 14th Amendment grants citizenship to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States.” If he were elected, he wants to deport the birthright children which is obviously a violation of the 14th Amendment.
What concerns me is that if we begin to single out one ethnic group for deportation, what will stop us from choosing another ethnic group? Has no one learned from the history of World War II such as the laws in Germany concerning the Jewish people or the removal of American-born German, Italian and Japanese to “internment camps” aka concentration camps? There were armed guards and barbwire fences. If you crossed a certain point, you were shot. This was done by Executive Order. Are we going to let hysteria rule over reason?
