EMBRYO: Fully human from start

| August 28, 2015 9:00 PM

In response to Cecil Kelly III, it is a myth that an organism goes through its supposed evolutionary history during any time in its development.

This idea the “the biogenetic law” (embriotic recapitulation) was based on fraudulent drawings of embryos by Ernst Haeckel and has been debunked by many high profile scientists for more than 100 years. For instance, Yale Biology Prof. Keith Thomson said, “Surely the biogenetic law is dead as a doornail. It was finally exorcised from biology textbooks in the ’50s. As a serious theoretical inquiry it was extinct in the ’20s.”

A human embryo is always a human embryo. Chemically as far as DNA and protein goes, we are as different right from conception as we are going to be structurally.

A human being can’t produce fins, yoke, tails or gills, we just don’t have and never had those DNA instructions.

As the psalmist David says in the Bible (Psalms 139:14), “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Wonderful are your works; My soul knows it well.”
