PREP FOOTBALL: Lake City moves opener to Kibbie Dome

Due to poor air quality, Lake City High's season-opening football game Friday vs. Rocky Mountain has been moved to the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, and will kick off at 3 p.m.

The game was scheduled to be played at Lake City.

Friday's game will be part of a scheduled tripleheader at the Dome. Coeur d'Alene will play Skyline of Idaho Falls at 5:30, followed by Moscow vs. Grangeville at 8.

St. Maries and Kellogg have moved their scheduled Friday football game to the Kibbie Dome as well. That game will be played Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Kellogg was scheduled to host the game.

Timberlake reserved the 7:30 p.m. time slot at the Kibbie Dome on Saturday night for its scheduled season opener vs. Frenchtown (Mont.). But Tuesday night, Timberlake athletic director Tim Cronnelly announced the game would be played in Spirit Lake as scheduled, at a time to be announced todday.
