PARENTS: Tribute to two of the best

Ken and Connie King: Happy 50th anniversary to my wonderful parents, married August 28, 1965. Thanks to these two good, good people, I grew up in a beautiful area where I was able to witness them working very hard jobs and giving back to the community in multiple ways. Ken and Connie King are the quiet do-gooders, minding their own business and giving so much of themselves in their humble lives. They taught me great lessons of hard work, enjoying life and nature, perseverance, helping others, and good old elbow grease and I am grateful for everything. My childhood was a gift.

Thank you Mom and Dad for all you have been and all you are. Happy anniversary from the girls and I. We care about you deeply and we love you so much. Here’s to many more wonderful years. I hope you get to enjoy many more miles of this world; there is still so much to see and do.
