TRAFFIC: Controls are out of control

Well, Wes Alderson, you’re the one who’s sad in your Aug. 14 letter to the editor regarding Douglas Weir’s “My Turn” article. Mr. Weir’s statements were right on and I wholeheartedly agreed with him regarding that there are way too many traffic controls in the city and country. One can hardly go a block or two before looking at another stop sign.

However, apparently, you are one of those newcomers who doesn’t know that Post Falls for years had only ONE (1) stop light at Spokane Street and Seltice Way. There were no stop signs/lights in the country or the city other than that one stop light. Now it is just massive traffic control from Post Falls to Sandpoint. What a pity.

By the way, we don’t disrespect our fellow citizens with your kind of psycho babble so please go back to where you came from.
