SHREK: A beastly good show

I had the pleasure of seeing “Shrek the Musical” last Thursday evening at the Kroc Center. I knew it would be a fun show for the kids, but I was surprised and pleased that I laughed more than they did. It’s not just for children! I was especially impressed with Jadd Davis’ Lord Farquaad and John Devereaux’s Donkey. They were having so much fun that their energy took the audience right along on the journey. Fiona and Shrek were marvelous and in addition, the dragon rates a big wow! It was like a character in a world Olympics presentation. Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre has really done a fabulous job with this show. It really is a must see!
