ALBRIGHT: Brings history to life

My wife and I always look forward to reading Syd Albright’s history articles in the Sunday paper. We particularly liked last Sunday’s article about World War I and the Idaho hero. We are presently listening to the “Fall of Giants” by Ken Follett, narrated by John Lee. Lee’s narration is exceptional and was really bringing this incredible story into our house. Syd brought it even further by telling about the Idaho soldier who was on the front lines, as so well described by Lee.

We are at the point where Russia has signed a truce with Germany, and Germany is presently moving their troops to the western front lines through France. Obviously, they will be opposed by the Allies, now accompanied by the U.S. soldiers and Tom Neibaur. Thanks again for Syd Albright’s excellent articles.
