TRUMP: Here's what I heard

| August 14, 2015 9:00 PM

A gullible Associated Press, after the debate critiqued, “A combative Donald Trump jolted the first Republican debate by warning that if denied the nomination he would go independent. While Trump was bombastic, other candidates clamored for the spotlight, quarreled over the issues, and assailed Hillary Clinton.”

Was the Associated Press asleep during the entire debate or even there?

Hillary Clinton was seldom mentioned and Donald Trump’s stupidity and silliness were ignored like everyone ignores an obnoxious drunk at a social gathering.

Each of the candidates (except Trump) stated their positions on crucial matters facing our nation with candor and decorum, with little comment toward another’s point of view. Dr. Ben Carson was brilliant in his take on solutions to a better world and Mike Huckabee’s down-to-earth opinion on a better economy and saving social security was refreshing.

Opinions taken after the debate included one man who said, “I liked him when I came because he wasn’t a politician but right now he skirted around the questions better than any politician ever has.”

Another gave his opinion, “He crashed and burned. He (Trump) was mean, bombastic, angry and he had no specifics. He didn’t look Presidential.”

Imagine, Donald Trump as president, stupidly crude, boastful and insulting, representing our great country when negotiating with other world powers. Help!
