PGF SOFTBALL: Xtreme takes ninth at national tournament

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Olivia Zufelt hit a home run and had a base hit as the North Idaho Xtreme 14-and-under softball team finished ninth at the Premier Girls Fastpitch National Championship tournament on Thursday.

North Idaho Xtreme lost to West Coast Premier 10-5, then lost to Texas Glory in a loser-out game 6-0.

Ashley Kaufman, Shelby Starr, Jalyssa Beamer and Sierra Apodaca had two hits each in the game against West Coast Premier.

The Xtreme finishes the season 28-10-2.
