Watersports event set for Long Lake

An amateur watersports competition will be held Saturday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 23 on Long Lake in Washington.

Amateur wakeboard, wakesurf and waterski competitive events are open to all ages and ability levels.

The event, organized by INT League, will be hosted Aug. 22 by the Lake Spokane Campground (off Highway 291 passing through Tumtum, Wash., turn left into Lake Spokane Recreation Area.)

The Aug. 23 competition will be held at Nine Mile Campground, 11226 W. Charles Road, Nine Mile Falls, Wash.

The all-day events are open to the public and spectators are welcome at no charge.
