Xtreme 14U starts 1-1 at nationals

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - The North Idaho Xtreme 14-and-under fastpitch team tied the Power Surge from San Diego 1-1 on Sunday morning at the PGF National Championships.

Ashley Kaufman allowed one hit and had nine strikeouts for the Xtreme, and Hannah Brock had a base hit and stolen base.

In the afternoon, the Xtreme beat the NorCal Firecrackers 7-2. Olivia Zufelt had a two-run triple and Ashley Kaufman had four strikeouts in the win.

The Xtreme plays the SoCal Firecrackers this morning.
