FLAG: Long may she wave
I went and saw the flag at mile marker 27 and I must say it bought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. I defended this great country and this is just one of the reasons why.
To the individual who placed our American Flag on top of the ponderosa pine I say THANK YOU. Only in Idaho. I am so proud to be a citizen of this state that still treasures American values. Forest Service should keep their opinion to themselves.
A word to the individual who placed the flag on top of the tree. If anyone finds you and tries to prosecute you, I will be the first one of many to support your defense in this matter. And knowing the citizens of Idaho, you will have the money and support you need to win this worthless prosecution.
Thank you for reminding me our flag stands for freedom, and blood that has been spilled to defend our way of life.
