Lorraine 'Lori' Nina Johnson, 87

On April 20, 2015, Lorraine "Lori" Nina Johnson, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after an illness, at the age of 87.

Born and raised in Duluth, Minn., Lori, as she was known by family and friends, was born July 21, 1927. She later traveled with her husband (who was in the United States Navy) and children throughout the United States and Guam. She retired in Paige, Idaho, then moved to Hayden, Idaho, with her pets whom she adored, where she became a member of Grace Bible Church.

Lori loved socializing and reading her Daily Bread and Bible daily. She was very devoted to Christ. She was also a very excellent cook and baker, making homemade bread every week.

In her earlier years, Lori was an avid bowler and loved to crochet. She sold Avon for many years and was recognized for her sales over and over again. Later in her life she loved to play Wii bowling, bingo, and card games. The last three years she was a resident at Life Care Center in Post Falls, Idaho, and enjoyed being their ambassador, doing it with a lot of pride and socializing with her many friends there.

Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Johnson; her grandparents; her mother, Nina LaGrange, who she loved and adored; and her brothers.

Lori is survived by her children, Junae Williams and son-in-law Ron of Coeur d'Alene, Kim Russell of Maine, Clayton Johnson, and Bret Johnson and wife Anna; six grandchildren: Shawndee Rohde (David Jr.), Kenneth Goddard Jr. (Lisa), Nova Yarnell (Nathan), CJ Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Bret Johnson Jr.; and many great-grandchildren including Ryan Rohde, Jessica Rohde, Neika Yarnell, and Aaron Jordan.

The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center in Post Falls for their compassionate and loving care of Lori over the past few years.

A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Grace Bible Church, 152 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Please call 208-772-2717 for a time.
