Who is Grandstanding? Mr. Malek, after reading your shallow, superficial and emotional article regarding the child support issue I suggest you look in the mirror. Your article reads like a typical progressive socialist liberal looking for an easy and expedient solution to an issue. You rant on with no substance to your position. Other than you want to vote yes.

Have you taken the time to study the long-term ramifications of this piece of legislation? Perhaps you ought to ask yourself why does our own Federal government tie child support to this legislation in order to force states to accept it, if it is so good. If the legislator from Nampa is correct this piece of work came out of the Hague from an unknown and unelected international governing body with final say on any decisions made. Thereby usurping our State and Federal Constitutions.

Yes, Child Support money for those in need may be provided but should not be tied to this piece of legislation. At this time and at no time in the future would I agree to signing over our sovereign rights to an international body. Perhaps further investigation into this legislation is needed. And if it is squeaky clean it could be a good tool. Thank you for your time in the Legislature.
